Building a reliable agent on LangGraph

From tool calling and state management to checkpoints and recovery after failures. You connect Agentic RAG to work with corporate data and MCP for integration with external systems. You get working code that can be adapted to your own project.

Deploy the agent to production without any blind spots

You set up tracing in LangSmith, identify bottlenecks, and monitor token usage. You analyze the OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities relevant to agents—Goal Hijacking, prompt injection, and memory poisoning—and build a Permissions Matrix with clearly defined human-in-the-loop points.

Day 1

• Block 1: Fundamental Concepts
Levels 0, 1, and 2: How They Differ and When to Use Each. Agent anatomy, the Agent Loop, and decision-making patterns: ReAct, Plan-and-Execute, and OODA.
Practice: Classifying real-world cases.

• Block 2: Technical Implementation and Architecture
Tool Calling, State Management in LangGraph, an overview of frameworks in 2026.
Practice: a basic LangGraph agent with 2–3 tools.

• Block 3: Specialized Roles
Overview case studies for developers (Coding Agents), DevOps/SRE (self-healing systems), data engineers (data quality, pipelines), and security (Agentic SOC).

• Block 4: Production-Ready and safety
Observability in LangSmith, Failure Engineering, OWASP Top 10 for agents, Human-in-the-loop.

Day 2

• Block 5: Agentic RAG and MCP
‍An agent that determines on its own whether a search is necessary. MCP for connecting to corporate data.

• Block 6: From a Single Agent to a Team
When to Use a Multi-Agent System: Communication Patterns, Incident Response Team Architecture, Shared State vs. Message Passing.

Day 3

• Block 7: Hands-on assembly of a multi-agent system.

• Unit 8: Challenges of Multi-Agent Systems
Debug in LangSmith, failure modes, cost explosion, feedback loops.

Is this free training?

Yes, participation is free thanks to funding from the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The main thing is to meet the conditions of participation.

Is it necessary to work in an IT company?

Yes, it is a must. At the time of starting your studies, you must be officially employed in such a company.

What are the requirements for participants?

To successfully complete the workshop, you will need: - Basic experience with Python development (intermediate level or higher) - An understanding of REST APIs and data formats (JSON)

Workshop preparation:- Python 3.10+ installed
- Google AI Studio — get an API key (https://aistudio.google.com, free)
- LangSmith—sign up and get an API key (https://smith.langchain.com, free)
- VS Code or another IDE

Is experience in ML or data science required?

No. Basic experience with Python development and an understanding of REST APIs are sufficient. The workshop is designed for engineers, not data scientists.

Will I be able to use the code I receive right away in my project?

Yes. All the code you write during the workshop is yours. You get to keep the starter repo. You can adapt the architectural patterns and solutions to your specific context.

Would this workshop be suitable for me if I'm writing in TypeScript/Go instead of Python?

Architectural patterns, state management principles, security, and observability approaches are universal. The practical portion is in Python, but participants using other languages will gain a thorough conceptual understanding and will be able to adapt these approaches to their own tech stack.

Will I get a certificate after the workshop?

Yes, after successful completion of the workshop, you will receive a certificate. To do this, you need to be present at all classes, do assignments and actively participate in discussions.
