Our training programs are designed so that knowledge is immediately put into practice through exercises, case studies, and work with real-life scenarios.
Day 1. Introduction to Product Design, project context, and JTBD
• Explore the role of a product designer and the difference between UI and Product Design.
• Examine the business context of the project, its goals, and key metrics at launch and now.
• Review project materials: mockups, UI kit, landing page, and released version of the product
• Conduct a short brainstorming session on the strengths and areas for improvement of the product
• Discuss Jobs-to-be-Done and correlate them with business goals.
• Practice briefing and role-playing with a "client" using real feedback and analytics.
• Form an initial iteration plan for working on the project.
Day 2. Project analytics and audit
• Learn about key product metrics and analytics tools
• Learn how to collect and interpret data relevant to designers
• Conduct a product audit: analyze layouts, UI kits, landing pages, and metrics for the year
• Identify growth points and formulate hypotheses for improvement
• Review real examples from the project and conduct a group analysis
Day 3. Hypotheses → decisions and mini design system
• Discover approaches to design systems and analyze the current UI kit
• Optimize the UI kit in the format of a mini design system
• Work out color tokens, spacing, radius, and enter them into variables
• Redesign key components (buttons, inputs, cards) using new tokens
• Form rules for using elements, typography, and Do/Don't scenarios
Day 4. Formalization of hypotheses, wireframes, and initial testing
• Formalize hypotheses in the form of sketches and low-fi wireframes
• Create a lo-fi interactive prototype
• Design PayWall and onboarding after registration
• Conduct initial testing of prototypes in pairs or in a usability test format
Day 5. Visual design
• Build design mockups based on wireframes and prototypes from the previous session
• Use components and tokens created earlier
• Assemble an interactive prototype
• Discuss the results and record observations
Day 6. Finalization of the case and presentation
• Discover the principles of storytelling and the structure of case presentations
• Prepare presentations in the format of problem → process → solution → results
• Present our work and discuss improvements to the project
• Put together the final case package for the portfolio

Is this free training?
Yes, participation is free thanks to funding from the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The main thing is to meet the conditions of participation.
What are the requirements for participants in the mini-course?
This is not a beginner's course. To get the most out of this course, you must meet the following requirements:
- You have already completed a UX/UI course or have similar knowledge.
- You have a basic understanding of user research and JTBD.
- You have worked with UI kits. - You are confident in using auto layout.
- You know how to work with components, variants, and properties in Figma.

Simply "knowing the principles" is not enough — you need solid practice.
Is it mandatory to work in an IT company, public sector or NGO?
Yes, it is a must. At the time of starting your studies, you must be officially employed in such a company.
Will the course be suitable if I work as a freelancer or in a studio?
Yes, the course will be useful for designers in any work format if they have basic UX/UI experience and want to move to a product-based approach.
