UI/UX Design Course

I always wanted to have a remote job and a flexible schedule. On the advice of a friend who is a designer, I chose UI/UX design at Beetroot Academy. The training began three weeks before the war, and the lessons became a drop of normality in the new reality. The teacher and classmates supported each other when everyone was scattered around the world. After graduation, I posted my project on LinkedIn, where it was supported by the Academy. Thanks to the wide coverage, three weeks later, an Academy graduate offered me a job with a German company.

I received a diploma on completion of the Frontend development course from Beetroot Academy. My goal was to systematize knowledge and build a structured approach to development — and the course fully met expectations. I have defended three full-fledged projects and completed many practical tasks. I got special pleasure from the final project — my own Event Manager, which I supplemented with a full backend, creating a Full Stack solution. Even after completing the course, I still have many ideas and inspiration for its development.

Thank you for the training, feedback, and support! Halfway through the course, I was already actively looking for a job in IT. It was a period of constant anxiety, doubts, rejections, new attempts, new interviews, and long waits. Then it hit me: when you're persistent in pursuing your goal, when you don't give up after the first rejections, when you work on yourself every day and try again — you get results!

The Project Management with AI course at Beetroot Academy was a very valuable learning experience. The practical format, strong facilitation, and support from the trainer helped our team master new tools, gain fresh ideas, and feel confident in implementing projects with real impact — even in challenging conditions.

Glad to share that I completed the HR in IT course at Beetroot Academy. These 4 months have been a period of deep insights and professional growth for me. The training was about real cases, practice, teamwork, and brainstorms. Thank you Nastya Ivanytska and Maria Smiyusa for their support, inspiration and psychologically safe space in which you could learn, ask questions and make mistakes without fear. This path has helped me to feel better about myself, understand my true goals in HR, and determine the direction of further development.

Hooray! I completed the Project Management course in IT at Beetroot Academy! Lots of practical experience: task planning, working with requirements, Agile/Scrum/Kanban, Jira, and Confluence. I also did a small pet project: a project plan for developing a Telegram chatbot for a bookstore. Many thanks to Yaroslav Kalugin for his support, cool insights, and mentorship. It was super useful and really inspiring to apply new skills right now.

Five months of intensive training in front-end development at Beetroot Academy are behind me — my first step and foundation for my future career in development. Main projects: responsive landing page, interactive JS application, and React application with dynamic functionality. A pleasant bonus of the training was the friendly atmosphere of the group and the mentorship of Ivan Vasilenko, who broke down technical concepts into simple real-life examples.

A useful overview of AI tools and practical cases for increasing productivity in daily work. The interactive format, specific examples, and the opportunity to practice prompting helped me better understand how to apply AI in practice. Discovering new tools and approaches to working with real-world tasks was particularly valuable.

My journey in UX/UI design began in 2022 (it feels like an eternity ago). My first and most fundamental course was at Beetroot Academy. We delved deeply into design thinking methodology and mastered UX research methods, which I still use in my work today. At the same time, we studied the basics of Figma, which became critical for my further education and development in design. I am always happy to share this experience and consider it one of the best decisions in my educational history.

A new profession, knowledge, a new passion, new acquaintances, motivation and aspirations — all this I got together with the diploma in HR Generalist in IT from Beetroot Academy 👏 Was it easy? Definitely not. But interesting materials, incredible coaches of the course — Viktoria Yakovleva and Elena Chernyshenko, meaningful and voluminous homework, motivated group and real buddies made this path pleasant and inspiring.
