5 years teaching at Beetroot Academy and over 150+ project management course graduates

There is always a "but" before the start. Let's figure it out.

Fear

The IT market in Ukraine is currently experiencing a downturn — it is very difficult to find a job. Newcomers are no longer needed.
The number of entry-level IT jobs is growing: according to DOU, the market has grown by more than 260% — from 213 vacancies in December 2022 to 680 in December 2025. 80% of our graduates who started from scratch find jobs in IT — thanks to practical skills, working on real tasks, developing soft skills, and building a portfolio.

Distrust

Starting from scratch, especially without a technical background, is an impossible mission.
Most of our graduates came to IT from other fields, ranging from education to management. In IT, logical thinking, attentiveness, and a willingness to learn are important, not just a degree in the field. Experience in another industry is not an obstacle, but a foundation to build on. We show you how to apply it in your new profession.

Uncertainty

What if I fail? I won't have enough time, and I won't be able to master everything and find a job.
Almost everyone has this thought before starting something new — and that's normal. Doubts don't mean you won't succeed. They mean you're embarking on something new and important. You don't need to know everything in advance. Just take the first step — we'll be there to help you move forward.

During five months of intensive training, I have established key skills in HTML/CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), React, as well as working with modern development tools and frameworks. During the course, I developed several practical projects: an adaptive landing page, an interactive JavaScript application and a React application with dynamic functionality. Separately, I would like to note the friendly atmosphere in the group and the mentorship of Ivan Vasylenko, who explained complex technical concepts in a simple and accessible way.

I recently defended a graduate project on the HR Generalist in IT course at Beetroot Academy — and it was one of the most effective trainings in my experience. The direction of Learning & Development responded the most. Thank you, Maria Smiyukha and Nastya Ivanytska for their professionalism, practicality and generosity in knowledge.

The pandemic forced me to rethink my career — I realized that I needed a job with a flexible schedule. On the advice of a friend, I chose Front-end at Beetroot Academy. Frequently Asked Questions

Who are your teachers? Where do they work and do they have teaching experience?
All of our teachers are middle+ level practitioners who work in Ukrainian and international IT companies.

Before they start teaching, they are interviewed by a recruiter and conduct a demo lesson under the supervision of an expert. This helps us ensure that you will be learning from people who know their stuff.
What training formats do you offer?
Depending on the chosen direction, we offer different training formats.

For beginners, we offer intensive courses lasting several months. For experts and teams, we offer more formats: master classes, workshops, and mini-courses. They vary in duration, balance of theory and practice, and group size.

To choose the format that meets your needs, sign up for a free consultation. Our educational advisors will help you pick a program that will maximize your learning results.
How do you develop your training programs?
Our courses are designed by middle+ level practitioners. They work in the field and know what skills employers need.

We regularly update our programs for beginners and experts to meet market demands. We develop customized programs for teams based on their specific needs.

The academy is part of the Beetroot ecosystem. Therefore, we have firsthand knowledge of the challenges IT professionals face and take this into account in our training.
Who can help with technical issues during training?
Each group has a designated manager. Their job is to make your learning experience convenient and enjoyable.

Managers will help you with access, provide you with the schedule, and remind you about payments. You can always contact them with any questions, even technical ones.
How do I access the training materials?
All materials are stored on our learning platform (LMS). There you will find lesson recordings, assignments, and teachers' comments on your work.

There is a built-in calendar with a schedule, a list of topics, and a chatbot for support during your studies. Everything is in one place.

Best of all, you have access forever. You can return to the materials even after the course is over.
How long does the training take?
It depends on the format you choose.

Professional courses last several months, while master classes and workshops last several hours.

Our educational consultants will tell you the exact duration of the program and how much time you should devote to studying.
Is it possible to study while working?
Yes! Most of our students combine studying with work.

The schedule is designed specifically for those who work full-time. Can't make it to class? There are always recordings available for self-study.

Our teachers are open to questions and will help you catch up on what you've missed. The main thing is your desire to learn.
Is it possible to transfer to another stream?
We understand that sometimes you need a break. Life can be unpredictable.

We deal with such issues on a case-by-case basis. We are always open to dialogue and will search for an option that suits you best.

The main thing is not to remain silent. Contact our managers, and together we will find a solution.
Do I need to know English to start studying with you?
We do not require knowledge of English, but we recommend at least a Pre-intermediate level.

Why English is important:
- 70-90% of useful materials are in English
- Without English, it is difficult to find a job in IT
- Most programs and documentation in international companies are in English

Therefore, it is better to learn English while studying, for example, through the Beetroot Academy English Club—you can attend it during the course.
