This project aimed to increase the economic security of women by creating opportunities for their personal and professional development. The initiative covered four key regions of Ukraine: Kharkiv, Kiev, Lviv and Poltava regions, focusing on supporting rural women and representatives of marginalized groups.
As part of the project, Beetroot Academy implemented a comprehensive IT training program, which included basic IT courses to familiarize participants with the field of IT. In total, more than 400 women of the target audience underwent basic training. The most motivated and capable participants were given the opportunity to continue their studies as part of an in-depth course on IT professions, which was completed by 90 women.
The project has created a solid foundation for improving digital literacy among women in the regions, providing them with the practical skills and knowledge needed to successfully integrate into the modern labour market and improve their economic situation.
